Compliance Agent

A Dynamic and Evolving Role!
We are currently seeking a Compliance Agent who will provide essential support to the compliance analysts in their daily tasks. In addition to researching current and upcoming programs, performing data analysis, preparing client reports, and submitting declarations, the Compliance Officer will weigh client samples.

Your Main Responsibilities
- Classify, structure, and analyze data related to assignments.
- Prepare and review clear and detailed reports, ensuring the quality and consistency of administrative documents for clients.
- Research and analyze information related to the industry and assignments.
- Weigh and classify materials.
- Provide direct support to analysts in their daily tasks and contribute to the overall efficiency of the team.
- Actively participate in the company’s social and environmental initiatives.
- Be part of a B Corp sub-committee to ensure our social and environmental performance.
- Work closely with the B Corp committee to ensure continuous improvement in its department’s social and environmental responsibility.
- Contribute ideas and involvement to the company’s sustainable development.
- Collaborate in defining social and environmental objectives to reduce our impact.
To excel in this role, we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Studies in Environmental Science or a related field.
- Two years of relevant experience.
- Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of EPR and its workings – An asset.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in MS Access – An asset.
- Valid driver’s license for occasional client visits.
Additionally, our ideal candidate possesses the following skills:
- Ability to handle sensitive data with impeccable rigor and precision while ensuring the quality and accuracy of every detail.
- Aptitude for working independently, while being proactive in identifying and solving problems.
- Capability to analyze complex information, ask the right questions, and propose thoughtful and relevant solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Additional Details
The start date is planned for as soon as possible. Although we have adopted a hybrid work mode, travel to the head office located in Mirabel (Saint-Janvier) will be required as needed. Compensation is based on a 35-hour week schedule, skills and experience acquired according to the scale of our salary policy.
